The river Danube flows about 588km through Serbia. Coming from Hungary it continues at kilometer 1433 as a border-river with Croatia through Serbia. On the coast a really eventful nature appears with nature reserves, two National Parks and a culture which goes back over a few thousand years. The centers of living are located directly on the river stream, the capital city Belgrade and the second largest city of Serbia, Novi Sad. At the 845,65 kilometer the Danube leaves Serbia and keeps flowing as the border-river between Bulgaria and Romania.
